About Us
Experience | Stormwater Utah has experience working in stormwater regulations in Utah since 2006.
We have experience on all construction project types including single family homes, residential developments, commercial projects, and linear projects.
Certifications | We hold the following Certifications: Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Controls (CPESC), Certified Professional in Municipal Stormwater Management (CPMSM), Registered Stormwater Inspector (RSI), and Erosion Control Supervisor (ECS).
Our Story
Stormwater Utah was founded by David Duvall after seeing a clear need for simple, reliable SWPPP support for custom home builders. I started the company to provide home builders, developers, and contractors with straightforward SWPPP solutions—including document preparation, NOI permits, and inspections. With an environmental degree and nearly two decades of industry experience, along with CPESC (2010) and CPMSM (2017) certifications, I’ve dedicated my career to helping builders stay compliant and keep projects moving.

Stormwater Utah began by supporting custom home builders who needed dependable help navigating stormwater compliance. We simplified SWPPP documents and permitting so builders could focus on construction—not paperwork.

As demand grew, we expanded our services to include developers, larger home builders, general contractors, and excavators, while maintaining the same commitment to accuracy, simplicity, and exceptional service.
